presentationAlthough our main business is removing honey bees from homes and selling the honey our bees produce, we also offer presentations for schools, garden clubs, churches and just about anyone else interested in learning about honey bees, beekeeping and/or becoming beekeepers! We’ve been doing these presentations since 2011 and we enjoy meeting new people and being a part of their learning process! Quite honestly, we like honey bees and teaching others about them.

The presentations are kid and adult friendly and interactive. Not only do we discuss the great mysteries of pollination and the creation of honey, but we also help remove fears, real and imagined, by candidly discussing why bees do what they do. Yes, honey bees sting, but knowledge of their social habits and why they sting can remove unrealistic fears. When it comes to this part of bees’ nature, knowledge really is power. Education about our environment, our food and the part that bees play in this process helps bring a better understanding of our complex food world and how important bees are to our ecosystem.
